🏄🏾♀️ Spreading the stoke
We’ve coordinated with San Francisco based City Surf Project to assist them in their mission of providing access to surf equipment, trips and instruction for inner city youth. We’ve pledged to donate one surfboard per year for 5 years, starting in 2025
⛰️ Promoting Public Lands
We have pledged to donate a percentage of our annual gross income to the Sierra Club for the next 5 years. These donations help their work protecting the Earth’s ecosystems and resources “using all lawful means”
🐋 Protecting Biodiversity
We are a proud annual donor to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)’s global mission of endangered species conservation, from elephants to elephant seals. These annual donations help the Fund protect nature and reduce threats to the planet
🌊 Watershed Advocacy
The De Filippis Foundation is a proud annual donor to the Surfrider Foundation, supporting them in their mission to protect coastal ecosystems, raise awareness and lobby for environmental causes across the United States and worldwide
🌲 Preserving Wonders
Our annual donations to the Save The Redwoods League help them protect California’s redwood trees by purchasing lands, restoring degraded forests and fostering a deep appreciation for these natural wonders

Equipment
We believe that one of the most common barriers to natural access is a lack of the gear and tools needed to reach wild areas or to take part in recreation once there
In that spirit, the Foundation owns and maintains insurance on a lending-library of watercraft (electric inflatable dinghy, surfboards) as well as recreational equipment (camping supplies, etc)
